Somerset Medical is Atlanta’s only intown concierge medical practice focusing on both the LGBTQ and allied communities and is led by Dr. Nicholas Church. We provide personalized, comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on preventive care, minimal wait times, longer appointments, and 24/7 direct access to your physician.
As a concierge medical practice, we offer a membership-based model that allows patients to receive high-quality, individualized care. Our members enjoy extended visits, same-day or next-day appointments, and direct communication 24/7 with Dr. Church via phone, email, or text.
At Somerset Medical, we limit the number of patients we see, allowing us to spend more time with each individual. This enables Dr. Church to offer more thorough evaluations, personalized care plans, and immediate attention when you need it.
Dr. Nicholas Church has been practicing medicine for more than 24 years, and is a board certified member of the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Academy of HIV Medicine. He is an expert in preventive healthcare, LGBTQ care and internal medicine including cardiovascular health and diabetes. The fee allows Dr Church to operate on a much smaller patient to doctor ratio. Typically a provider will care for 3,000 or more patients, Dr. Church limits his panel to a fraction of that. As a result, you get much longer appointments, prompt, direct access 24/7 and unparalleled service. Your annual comprehensive health assessment includes extended preventive tests not ordinarily covered by insurance. These are also included in the membership fee.
Yes, we take most major forms of insurance and Medicare. Text or call (470) 666-5567 or email us at office@somerset-medical.com to find out if we take your insurance. Concierge membership is not a substitute for health insurance. Typical out-of-pocket expenses with a traditional primary care doctor may apply. Your health insurance will likely work the same with concierge medicine as it does with traditional primary care, covering some of these expenses.

Absolutely. As a member, you’ll have access to same-day or next-day appointments for urgent medical needs. If you require attention after hours, Dr. Church is available 24/7 address your concerns.
Yes, Dr. Church offers both telemedicine appointments and at home visits for our members when appropriate.
Dr. Church will work closely with you to coordinate referrals to the best specialists in the area. He will also stay in close contact with the specialist to ensure continuity of care and help manage your overall health plan.
